This honey onyx front panel sets off this grey kitchen beautifully. We love working with Onyx, it is sparkly and translucent, meaning putting a light behind it can create a soft ethereal glow. In fact, it is hard to believe it is a natural rock, it looks more like a gemstone. The honey colour in this onyx is likely caused by iron oxide where the stone was mined, and that colour is only extenuated when it radiates with light.
The charcoal colour granite, from Global Granite, forms a wrapped island with waterfall edges. Granite is a greats stone to use in the kitchen and is of the most popular stones to have as your kitchen worktop. All the work fabricating the marble and granite for this beautiful kitchen took place at our workshop and showroom in Gillingham, Kent. Our team then installed the natural stone into a home in Kent.
Onyx is a great stone for creating a show-stopping look, and talking point in any room. The clever use of onyx as a side panel means that the backlighting can go into the carcass of the kitchen and change the look of the kitchen at the flick of a switch.
A granite kitchen worktop creates a classic and classy feel in any kitchen. The waterfall edges used can be on one side or both side, it is entirely down to you. When the granite and the waterfall edges are coupled with the unique and quirky use of the onyx, I am sure you will agree that the result is a stunning kitchen.
